Hello,
 

I am a Texas Based Print/News and Graphic Designer.

My career started in 2016 when I joined The Flare newspaper staff. (The Kilgore College student publication) During my two years at The Flare I served as Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, Sports Editor and Design Director of the annual magazine. During those two years, I won over 20 awards for Print Design and Journalism at both the state and national levels. 
I went on to transfer to Texas State University and graduated with a B.S. in Journalism with a minor in Political Science. 
After college I took job as a Copy Editor/Fact Checker at Google News, but my passion for design was always a constant. I would  go on to accept a position at the Washington Post as a Designer. 
During my time at the Post, I designed the Daily A-Section, Metro Section, Sports section and the weekly travel section. 
Design is the ultimate extension for storytelling and has remained my true passion throughout my career. Following my run at the Washington Post I became I an Editorial Designer for The Boston Globe, Where I designed the daily business section, Weekly Food section and the weekly Living Arts weekend section.
